We used our VHF Short Term Special Purpose Repeater – set up on a hill just outside of Hamilton.		ZL1DK in Sweep Boat at about 100 mph – Photo: ZL1UD
	ZL1PK, ZL1GWP, ZL4QJ at Base – Photo: ZL1UD	With exception of the start point in Cambridge, all of our safety boats were able to access the repeater with a handheld transceiver and a high gain antenna.
	For information on becoming an operator on this event, contact the Section Leader. The 2009 event was held on 31 October to 1 November 2009, in very sunny weather. All went well and proved to be another very successful event, with commendation from the organisers.
